Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations such as ARC, MIG, TIG, or Gas welding
- Read and interpret welding symbols and basic engineering drawings
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning before welding
- Ensure weld quality, strength, and finish as per specifications
- Inspect welds for defects and rework if required
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times
- Maintain welding equipment and tools
- Support fabrication and production activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of welding techniques and tools
- Ability to read basic drawings and welding symbols
- Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail
- Understanding of safety practices in welding
